Dreamless OVERVIEW
In a small, quiet town, teenagers mysteriously disappear every 25 years, leaving the locals haunted by a dark mystery. Some say there’s an invisible force guiding these events an unseen puppeteer pulling the strings.
For one week every quarter century, from August 1st to August 7th, called “Death Week,” young people vanish without a trace. City officials, unable to solve the mystery, now tell residents to stock up on supplies and stay indoors during this time, but the disappearances keep rising. Some believe a serial killer passes down this deadly tradition while others sense a curse.
At the center is John, a hardworking high school senior with a passion for video blogging. On August 1, 2017, a new “Death Week” begins, just one month before his 18th birthday. Life in town seems to carry on, with people brushing off old fears. But John’s friend Will proposes a risky adventure: exploring a long-abandoned house that once terrified everyone who knew of it.
