Hey, I’m Max, a solo dev from Germany. Legends of Dionysos is this sick 2.5D Action RPG I’ve been grinding on for three years now. Imagine RPG vibes mixed with fast-paced combat where you’re minmaxing stats, leveling up, and hunting epic loot. It is all about exploring this massive open world hacking through hordes of orcs, demons, and massive dragons!
So Why did I make this game? Well since I was a kid, I have been hooked on games like Street Fighter Sonic, and Final Fantasy. I Wanted a game that blends the adrenaline rush of beat em ups with the depth of RPGs. Legends of Dionysos is my shot at combining those worlds. You’re not locked into classes here; you wield whatever weapon you want, each with its own skills and spells. It is all about tactical swapping managing cooldowns, and mastering different play styles.
The arena battles? Total game changers. Think Diablo style challenges where you face waves of enemies and bosses. Survive and you score epic loot drops. Plus, these arenas scale with difficulty, so the tougher you go, the sweeter the rewards.
And get this—there’s even character customization. Sure, it’s mostly for looks, but who doesn’t want to run around as a cat-person with neon hair? It’s all about making each playthrough your own.
Oh, and for the hardcore gamers out there, we’ve got permadeath and speedrun modes with built-in timers and local leaderboards. Because why not crank up the challenge, right?
