Yo, dude, when night rolls around, she finds herself in a whole different universe. Moonless Moon is this epic text based adventure game where you follow a girl as she hops through all sort’s of wild worlds. Picture this: night takes her to a moon desert, a coffee shop inside a tunnel, an island floating in the sky, and a bunch of other crazy places that don’t make any sense. Yomichi is just your average girl living a normal student life—except sometimes, after the sun sets, she’s whisked away to these alternate worlds.
Whether she is chilling in a moon desert, sipping coffee in a tunnel or exploring a sky island she loves making new friends in every place she lands. But, like, it leaves her with some big questions. Does she really have to live in her regular daytime world? Is her everyday school life the real deal? This Story is all about her trying to figure out what these different world’s mean for her.
Yomichi’s the girl who jumps from world to world, meeting all these unique peeps along the way. Moonless Moon is like playing through a music video packed with unforgettable art and tunes. When you hit the “riddle” parts, you’ve gotta piece together the story to keep going. They’re these fun, intuitive puzzles where you find keywords and slot them into the text.
The game also has a bunch of original tracks with animated music videos so you are diving into this one-of-a-kind world with a killer soundtrack. Your choices matter, leading the story toward different ending’s. ANMC is all about making music and indie games inspired by storie’s written by Kazuhide Oka. Loads of artists including some from KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO have teamed up for this epic collab to create an amazing mix of songs. Moonless Moon is ANMC’s debut project.
