RESURRECTION OF MIND OVERVIEW
Yo dude, Check this out: So, the game is set on Earth way in the future, and the planet’s been hit with a threat from way back. Turns out, a super smart ancient race called “The Firstborn” ruled the world before humans even showed up. But then a meteorite crashed into Earth millions of years ago wiping out most life and making the planet nearly unlivable. To save themselves, the Firstborn put their city into hibernation.
Enter Kirk Hussl, an ex-Special Forces guy turned thief. He’s got a secret mission from an anonymous source to find some cool artifact in the ocean. He dives to the spot, finds this weird crystal, and while grabbing it, triggers an explosion that wrecks the power system for the Firstborn’s hibernation pods. Kirk ends up knocking himself out and wakes up in a local prison.
Now we’ve got Zendaya, a young treasure hunter with a knack for finding rare artifacts. She’s an adventurer who’s always up for a challenge and happens to be exploring the ruins of Wilmington, which is now home to the Firstborn.
Then there’s Yoko an archaeology student on a quest to uncover what caused the cataclysm that destroyed everything he cared about. He’s a bit of a nerd and kind of funny, but he’s determined to get to the bottom of what happened and revisit his ruined home.
Meanwhile, the ancient city of the Firstborn, “Gentem,” has risen from the ocean and is now floating in the sky, causing a massive energy wave that devastates part of the East Coast. Wilmington is now in ruins, and Gentem plans to terraform Earth to suit themselves, which could wipe out humanity.
Kirk breaks out of prison and takes refuge in the ruins. Yoko is investigating the disaster and Zendaya is exploring the city. Fate bring’s these three together as they discover the Firstborn’s plans and work to stop them.
You Will get to explore the new city, uncover the story of these three heroes battle enemies with unique abilities, and dive into a fast paced metroidvania style world with six different zones.
